Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the rental period?
A rental period can either be per full day (8 hours), or weekly rental period.
What if I need to extend the rental period?
Extending your rental is easy, simply give us a call if you need your rental for longer and would like to extend your rental period.
Do you charge a deposit fee?
No, at Mays Rentals we do not charge deposit fees at this time.
Does the equipment rental include refuel?
No. It is the renter's responsibility to return the machine refueled. If the equipment is returned with less fuel in it than when it was rented to you, we charge a $7 per gallon refeuling fee.
Can I drop off or pick up the equipment myself?
Yes, you can pick up the equipment with your own trailer or rent one of ours if needed. We also offer delivery and pick up as well if you do not have the option to do it yourself.
Do you offer same-day or next-day delivery?
Yes, we offer same-day delivery, but it is better to book in advance to ensure the equipment you need is available.
Where are you located?
Our rental site is located at 50 Brookside Circle, Raynham MA, however we deliver to the South Shore and South Coast, Cape Cod, and Rhode Island.
Do you service my area?
We service most of Southeast Massachusetts, including the South Shore, Greater Boston, Cape Cod, and the Islands. If you are further than this please call us to see if we service your area.
Do you charge for delivery?
We charge $50 delivery fee each way for up to 20 miles from Raynham MA.
What do I do if the equipment breaks down or needs repair?
If a machine breaks down, please give us a call and we will come out to evaluate the issue.
A valid Hoisting License is required to rent heavy-duty equipment.

Protection and Coverage:
Mays Rental offers minor damage insurance coverage of 15% of your rental fee for your peace of mind. This does not cover loss, theft, or major damage.
In the rare event that there is a total loss or significant major damage assessed to any of our rental equipment by our insurance company, the renter/customer is aware that they are fully financially liable for all major damages caused to our machinery and property involved.
